Driver crashes into pole on Calkins Road after medical issue

HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A driver has minor injuries after crashing into a telephone pole on Calkins Road near Gareth Way in Henrietta.

Monroe County sheriff’s deputies say the driver had a medical issue and there were no drugs or alcohol involved. A stretch of Calkins Road was closed but has since reopened.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. on Wednesday and the driver was taken to the hospital.
