RG&E offers free kits to help Rochester save on electricity
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Looking to cut down on your electric bills? Starting Monday, RG&E is offering free energy efficiency kits to help you save money.
The kits include LED light bulbs, door sweeps, power strips, and faucet and shower head extenders. These items can help reduce energy consumption throughout the year.
The kits are available while supplies last. You can pick one up at any of the city’s four neighborhood service centers:
- Southwest Neighborhood Service Center, 320 Goodman Street, Rochester
- Southwest Neighborhood Service Center, 923 Genesee Street
- Northwest Neighborhood Service Center, 400 Dewey Street
- Northeast Neighborhood Service Center, 500 Norton Street
