Black Friday has arrived; Here are the hours for local malls and retailers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Black Friday has arrived. Even with the rise in online shopping, Black Friday remains the U.S.’s biggest day of the year for retail foot traffic.

Many retailers are offering deals to kick off the holiday season. Here are the hours for big box retailers and local malls in the Rochester area:

  • Kohl’s and JCPenney were among the earliest stores to open. Kohl’s is open from 5 a.m. to midnight. JCPenney’s is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Eastview Mall, The Mall at Greece Ridge, and Marketplace Mall are all open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Target is open from 6 a.m. to either 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. depending on the location.
  • Walmart is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., except the Walmart Supercenter on Hudson Avenue which opens at 7 a.m.
  • Best Buy is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
