Some lucky Perinton kids got a taste of Easter magic

PERINTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Some lucky Perinton kids got a taste of Easter magic this morning.

The town held its annual egg hunt at the Perinton Community Center starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Youngsters up to age nine got to hunt for Easter treasures in separate age groups. There were more than 400 registered for the event, which nearly filled up ahead of time.

"We definitely see people are ready to get out and do some of these special events and activities again, said Nick Berlin.

Participants ended the day of fun with the Easter bunny and some craft activities.
