First Alert Weather: Cold and local lake effect snow continues Wednesday
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Light lake effect snow showers will continue on Wednesday afternoon with a dusting to an inch at most. It will remain very cold, in the 20s with less wind.
Thursday will bring more widespread snow showers to the region with some light accumulations in the one to two-inch range through the day. It will be briefly milder for Friday and Saturday before an Arctic airmass moves into the region next week.
The coldest weather of the winter season so far looks to arrive later Sunday into Monday and Tuesday. Wind and lake effect snow is possible as well.
Temperatures next week will be in the single digits and teens with temperatures at night near or below zero. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the snow for Thursday.
