Police investigating shooting in Downtown Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are working to figure out where a man was shot in Downtown Rochester Tuesday night.
Police say just after 8 p.m. they were told that a 40-year-old man had been dropped off at Strong Memorial Hospital via private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his lower body. He is expected to survive.
The man said he was near North Clinton Avenue Downtown when it happened, but as of 10:15 p.m., police were still unsure of where exactly the shooting happened.
