ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Beauty, a falcon that made her home on the Time Squares Building, has died. Rochester Falcon Cam made the announcement on Tuesday.
Beauty was 15 years old, a long life for a Peregrine Falcon, and raised her young in Rochester over the years. Rochester Falcon Cam reported that her long-time mate, named Dot.ca, didn’t return this year for an unknown cause.
Recently, Beauty bonded with another male falcon.
"We were very hopeful that Beauty would raise a family this year," said a statement from Falcon Cam.
