ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Wilmot Cancer Foundation held its tenth annual Warrior Walk on Sunday. The event was held at Genesee Valley Park in honor of those impacted by cancer. Hundreds of cancer survivors, family members, friends, doctors, and researchers showed up to celebrate and show their respect.

The walk and 5k serves as a fundraiser for Wilmot’s Judy Dimarzo Cancer Survivorship Program.

“It’s incredible. Over the last ten years, this event has raised over a million dollars for Wilmot, and for our cancer survivorship program, as well as research. Every time I come to this event it’s really a source of inspiration for me to work harder,” said Jonathan Friedberg, Director Wilmot Cancer Institute
