ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two people are facing charges after Rochester Police say they were involved in a fight on Monday where at least one shot was fired.

Officers say the fight broke out around 5 p.m. on Adams Street near Van Auker Street on the city’s southwest side. They saw people running from the area but no one was shot.

A 41-year-old man was arrested after RPD said he fled from officers and owned a loaded gun found at the scene. A 21-year-old man is facing separate charges related to the fight. Police say the scene is now safe.
