Crews battle fire at The Coach Sports Bar in Webster

WEBSTER, N.Y. — Crews battled a fire that they said left “significant” damage at The Coach Sports Bar on West Main Street in Webster on Tuesday morning.
The Webster Fire Department was dispatched to the bar at around 8a.m. for reports of smoke coming from the bar. Various other fire departments were also called to the fire for assistance.
There was heavy fire conditions on the first floor and the fire extended into the attic space. Fire crews were able to get the fire under control by 8:43a.m., according to the Webster Fire Department.
The building suffered significant fire and smoke damage, but no other places nearby reported any damages and there was no reports of any injuries Webster Fire said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
