Gunfire hits house on Lake View Park and nearly hits crib where 1-year-old slept

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police said bullets went through a home on Lake View Park on Tuesday and nearly hit a crib where a 1-year-old slept. None of the five people inside were injured.

The Rochester Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the city’s northwestern side, Lake View Park near Archer Street, at around 1 a.m. Officers found that gunfire had struck a home with three adults and two children inside.

No suspects are in custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
