Local basketball stars showcase their talents to colleges

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) – Basketball organization Primetime 585 helped to show off the Rochester area’s best high school talent by bringing basketball stars together under one roof on Monday night.

Colleges were invited to see the student-athletes from the city and the suburbs play. They left it all out on the court at St. John Fisher College’s gym.

The goal was to give these kids exposure as one unit.

“We don’t charge kids, because we don’t believe the showcase should be based on your ability to pay. It’s your ability to play,” said Gerard Iglesia, the director of Primetime 585.
