Rochester Half-Marathon and 5K returns on Sunday: What you need to know

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More than 1,400 people are expected to compete at the Rochester Half-Marathon and 5K race on Sunday morning.
The races start at Maplewood Park on 89 Maplewood Drive and they both end at Frontier Field. The half-marathon start time is 7:30 a.m. and 5K begins 10 minutes later. Runners will start to line up around 7:15 a.m.

There is also a kid’s half-mile run that starts at the corner of Browns Race and Furnace Street in High Falls and ends at Frontier Field. That race starts at 10:30 a.m.
You have until Saturday at 3:45 p.m. to register online for a race. After registering, you must pick up your race number and t-shirt at Fleet Feet on 155 Culver Road. Pickup times are Friday, September 23rd from 12-6 p.m. and Saturday, September 24th from 10-4 p.m.
You can park at Frontier Field for the race and a bus will transport runners to the start line between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. You can find a course map and other information here.
