ROCHESTER, N.Y. Waking up this morning to milder weather but cloudier skies as rain is expected to arrive soon.
Early this morning, we will see widespread rain that will be heavy at times before transitioning over to scattered showers this afternoon. No flooding is expected, but rain could limit visibility on roadways at times this morning.
With the cloud cover and rain in place locally it will be tough to warm up later today as they only reach the low 60s. Shower chances not only increase today but will continue through Wednesday.
This is thanks to an area of low pressure to our north that will slowly move northeast over the next several days. This will keep us unsettled with cloudy skies and rain shower chances through a good chunk of this week.
We will continue to see scattered shower chances through Wednesday before high pressure tries to move in late Wednesday and dry us out late. Also with the cloudy skies and unsettled weather in place, we will remain on the cool side with highs near 60 degrees before we warm up late this week.
