Troopers find RPD Officer dead in car in Veterans Memorial Park parking lot

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC) — The New York State Police say a water search of Veterans Memorial Park Monday afternoon ended without them turning up anything.

As of 3:30 p.m., troopers were wrapping the search up.

They were using metal detectors to search the water in the park. Ogden Police Chief Chris Mears was on scene.
