ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — RIT had its first stop in the Atlantic Hockey Tournament Friday night. A best of three series is taking place all weekend, and neither the Tigers nor Pioneers gave an inch.

Tommy Scarfone had a case for being all three stars for the Tigers Friday night.

The goaltender finished with 39 saves in the game.

A zero-zero tie brought us into sudden death. In the extra period, it was Dan Willett scoring the game-winner.

Justin Robbins wanted a review on that goal as well, but it would stand and RIT could celebrate.

A win on Saturday or Sunday and the Tigers are into the conference tournament semifinals.
