ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Museum and Science Center (RMSC) hosted a 21 and over event Friday as part of its "After Dark" series.

The Jurassic Jamboree was from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. It featured a cash bar, a scavenger hunt and an "Expedition: Dinosaur"-themed trivia game., as well as a VR exhibit, laser shows at RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium and crafts.

Dinosaur BBQ provided dinner and snacks.

"It’s a really good way to kind of reminisce about being a kid and dinosaurs were your favorite thing," said RMSC employee Kevin McNally. "They’ve been extinct for millions of years and they’re still not out of style."

The next After Dark event is the "Geek Chic Prom" on June 3.

The museum requires guests to show proof of COVID vaccination, either a physical copy of their vaccine card or the Excelsior Pass. It does not accept photos or photocopies of vaccine cards.

Like all After Dark events, costumes are encouraged.
