Man in court Tuesday morning after shooting, standoff on Orange Street

ROCHESTER, N .Y. (WHEC) — 46-year-old Tyrone Jenkins was taken into custody on Monday after an hours-long standoff with police. On Tuesday, Jenkins was in court.

Police arrested Jenkins after they say he fired shots that hit a car around 1:30 a.m. on Monday. Upon arresting him, officials say they found four guns, body armor, and what they believe is cocaine.

No one was hurt over the course of the entire incident, but Jenkins is being charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.
