15-year-old shooter charged

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 15-year-old shooter who shot another 15-year-old and left him with significant, life-altering injuries has been charged with assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a firearm.

This new development came this week from Rochester Police.

According to RPD, the 15-year-old, whose name has not been provided, was charged on Thursday, March 10 in Monroe County Family Court with the two felonies.

The shooting occurred on Jan. 4, 2022 on the 200 block of Saxton Street and left the 15-year-old gunshot victim in critical condition.
