2 arrested for robbery outside of Pet Supplies Plus store on Monroe Ave

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two robbery suspects were caught quickly after Rochester Police say they tried to use a stolen credit card.

It happened at around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say a woman was leaving the Pet Supplies Plus store on Monroe Avenue and South Goodman Street when her purse was stolen by a man and a woman. She was not hurt.

Then officers were alerted that her card was being used at a nearby business.

Police arrested Bernea Roberson, 22, of Rochester, and charged her with second degree robbery and two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree and they arrested Antwan Parker, 22, of Rochester and charged him with second degree robbery and fourth degree grand larceny.
