2 people airlifted to Strong after crash in Marion

MARION, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two teenagers are in guarded condition after a Sunday evening crash that sent four people to the hospital.

It happened on Route 21 in the Town of Marion, Wayne County around 6:30 p.m.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the teens were passengers in a car as it traveled south on Route 21 when it attempted to make a left and crashed into another vehicle as it was heading north.

Deputies say the two teens were airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital. The other two people hurt were also taken to Strong for what deputies say are minor injuries.
