2 women indicted for separate deadly crashes

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester woman and a Hilton woman were indicted Tuesday in two separate deadly crashes.

Michelle Correia, 30, is accused of hitting 20-year-old Nyasia Walker with her car before driving away from the scene on Clifford Avenue back on Aug. 9. Walker ended up dying at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Correia was indicted on charges of second degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death.

Renee Alger, 52, of Hilton, is accused of hitting motorcyclist Trystan Sylvester, 23, of Greece with her SUV, killing Sylvester and her own husband, 54-year-old Charles Alger, on Sept. 11.

Alger was indicted on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
