LAS VEGAS, NV (WHEC) — The Buffalo Bills continue in rounds 4-7 on the final day of the 2022 NFL Draft.

They used that 23rd overall pick to draft Florida Cornerback, Kaiir Elam. He fills a void that General Manager Brandon Beane acknowledge the Bills had. With Tre’Davious White not guaranteed to be 100% right away and Levi Wallace departing for the Steelers, Buffalo gets a player who Beane said was their final 1st-round grade on the board.
Elam, 20, finished his 35-game college career with with 79 tackles (52 solo), six interceptions, and a fumble recovery. That included a a 1st-Team SEC nod his sophomore year. A Riviera Beach, FL native; Elam will be the third in his family to play professionally, following his Father and Uncle.
