$6M available for New York animal shelters
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — New York animal shelters can apply for a piece of the more than $6 million now available for improvement projects.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the fourth round of New York State’s Companion Animal Capital Fund Friday.
Grants can be used to build, buy and renovate in order to better care for sheltered dogs and cats.
Shelters have until the end of January to submit applications.
