ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Submissions for acts at the Rochester Fringe Festival will open on Wednesday.

Artists can apply on the festival’s website and can choose which of 15 venues they would like to perform at. Some of the venues include the Eastman School of Music, Geva Theatre, and Writers & Books. Applications will close on May 4 at noon and there is no cost to apply.

Artists can also apply to perform online shows. The festival may feature some virtual performances like it hosted in 2020 and 2021.

The annual Rochester Fringe Festival runs from Sept. 13 through Sept. 24. It is the largest multidisciplinary performing arts festival in New York State, featuring local, national, and international performers.
