Attorney for suspect in Brittanee Drexel case arrested
A South Carolina attorney representing a man named a suspect in the Brittanee Drexel case is in trouble with the law himself.
The Post and Courier newspaper in Charleston is reporting defense attorney Mark Peper was arrested Monday morning for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine.
News10NBC spoke with Peper and his client Da’Shaun Taylor about the Drexel case last November.
Last summer, an FBI agent said an informant linked Taylor to her disappearance and death. Both Taylor and his attorney told us he was not involved.
