ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Four key Buffalo players were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list within the past 10 days. They were all activated today because of new NFL policies.

Jon Feliciano was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Dec. 19. AJ Epenesa followed on Dec. 20. One day later, Cole Beasley was added to the list, with Gabriel Davis added on Christmas Eve.

For Feliciano, the previous rule of 10 days is now finished. But for Epenesa, Beasley, and Davis, the new five-day rule allows Buffalo to activate them.

This is extremely important for Davis, who was previously ruled out against the Atlanta Falcons. Now, Josh Allen will get his rising sophomore back in time for the final two games of the regular season, along with Beasley and Feliciano, who are major parts of the Bills offense.

Epenesa also adds back a boost to the defense.

Cody Ford and Cam Lewis were still on the COVID list as of Wednesday afternoon.

Star Lotulelei also returned to practice on Wednesday, according to Sean McDermott.
