ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — It’s not the time of year Bills General Manager Brandon Beane hoped he’d be holding his end-of-the-year press conference but after Buffalo’s loss in the AFC Divisional round at Kansas City, the GM met the media.

Beane thanked the fans for their support and that it wasn’t the ending they had anticipated.

He also touched on Buffalo letting the lead slip away against the Chiefs with 13 seconds left in regulation and that it’s something the team will have to learn from.

Beane didn’t mince words when talking about how crushing of an end this season had.

"I’m sick to my stomach that we lost the other night," he said. "But I am so appreciate, our building is so appreciative. It’s painful. For people to show up at the airport at 3 in the morning. I don’t know what the temperature was but I wanted to hug them all. I’m just so appreciative all year long, no matter where we went." Beane continued, "It just says a lot to who they are and I’m sorry we didn’t get it done. We’re all hurting."
