Brandon Beane Named Top G.M. By NFL.com

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — The nickname, "Big Baller Beane" has caught on among Bills Mafia and it’s easy to understand why.

General Manager, Brandon Beane has lifted the franchise out of the abyss it had been stuck in for over 16 years when Buffalo ended its playoff drought in 2017. More recently, he just wrapped up a loud free agency highlighted by the acquisition of 2x super bowl champ, Von Miller.

Though the NFL Draft isn’t for another week and a week and a half, one NFL.com list has already put a crown on Beane’s head.

According to NFL’s Gregg Rosenthal, Beane is the top General Manager in the league, ahead of the Rams’ Les Snead and the Steelers’ Kevin Colbert.

Beane arrived in 2017 and two years ago led Buffalo to its first division title since 1995.

He was responsible for drafting Josh Allen 7th overall and Tremaine Edmunds 16th overall in 2018. In 2020, he traded for Stefon Diggs, who recently signed a 4-year extension with the team.
