Brighton Police: 88-year-old woman seriously burned

BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Brighton Police say an 88-year-old woman was seriously burned in a fire on Grosvenor Road on Sunday.
Police believe the fire was started by a candle that ignited the victim’s clothing.
The victim was rushed to Strong Hospital by Brighton Volunteer Ambulance, where she is suffering from serious burns.
