ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Broadway royalty is gracing the Rochester Broadway Theatre League’s Auditorium Theatre now through Dec. 12 in “Pretty Woman: The Musical”.

Tony-award nominee Adam Pascal was also in the Broadway musical.

He told News10NBC the biggest challenge behind starring in a production like this is putting himself into the role.

"I think it’s our job as actors in any show that we do because we are stage actors, and we are all very familiar with playing roles that other people have played before, so it’s just part of what we do, you know?" Pascal said. "As film actors, generally, you’re creating roles because it’s a new film, but as stage actors, for the most part, unless you’re in a new musical, which are few and far between, you’re playing parts that other people have played before so I think we’re all very used to being able to bring ourselves to roles that people may be familiar with other actors playing, and that’s part of the fun and that’s part of the challenge."

Pascal also starred in the original Broadway cast of "Rent" as Roger Davis and the movie version as well.
