ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Seth Bendall of Brockport is a special kid. When he was just four years old, he started donating to Toys for Tots. He would bake cookies with his mom, sell them and use the money to buy new toys for kids in need in our community.

However, in 2019 his mother passed away from cancer. That didn’t stop Seth. He still bakes the cookies with his dad and grandma with mom’s special recipe. He’s already planning his trip to the store to buy a bunch of toys. Each year, he raises about $500 to $600! Last year, he raised $1,400 for Toys for Tots.

Seth hopes his story inspires other kids and adults to donate.

Every little bit counts! The donations bins will be out in our community now through Dec. 19!
