Deja vu again for the Bills defense against the run. Dane Jackson gets hurt on the play.
Jackson is listed as questionable to return.
First sign of that Carolina not having their kicker should benefit the #Bills immensely: Panthers fail to convert on 4th down in a world they’d normally kick a FG.

Buffalo ball.
The Bills are forced to punt again after a completion to Dawson Knox falls short of the yards to gain. Back over to Cam Newton and the Panthers.
I don’t really know how to describe that play but I’ll try:

After a missed sack on Cam Newton, Ed Oliver forces a fumble that bounces into the hands of DJ Moore for a Panthers 1st down. #Billsmafia
Cam Newton misfires on 4th & 1 and the Panthers are now 0-for-2 and 4th down conversions.
Buffalo has possession at the end of the 1st quarter. It’s scoreless from Orchard Park.

Allen finds Diggs for the Bills’ second touchdown of the 2nd quarter. Buffalo raises its lead to 14-0.
Stefon Diggs let loose with the emotions there. It’s a must-win for Buffalo and this is looking like the Bills team we saw in the first five weeks of the season.

Carolina comes up empty again and the Bills have the ball with under five minutes left in the half. Josh Allen is looking to tack on more points with Buffalo receiving the second half kickoff.
Jeremy Chin picks off Allen and on the first play from scrimmage after the turnover, Robby Anderson rushes inside the ten yard line on an end-around.
Cam Newton makes this a one score game on a TD run.

From where we’re sitting, that catch by Moore looked even better.

14-8 #Bills with 1:48 left in the half.
Buffalo can’t punch it in the end zone at the end of the half but a 26-yard Tyler Bass field goal makes it 17-8, Bills at the break. Buffalo will get the kickoff to start the final 30 minutes.
The 17-8 halftime score is the first time that’s ever happened in NFL history.
