Rick is named after announcer Rick Jeanneret.
He’s an 8-month-old Newfoundland and the Sabres say he’s a rescue from the SPCA through the Pawsitive for Heroes Program.
Rick will become a service dog and find his forever home with a veteran.
For now, fans can see him cheering on the team at games.
