buybuyBABY donates car seats to CrimeStoppers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — CrimeStoppers received four infant car seats for Rochester Police Department and Monroe County District Attorney’s Office cars to use as the organization’s Valentine’s Day fundraising raffle nears its close.

The donation is from buybuyBABY. The store received a plaque of appreciation from RPD Lt. Greg Bello, Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, and representatives from CrimeStoppers.

The company says this is the second donation it has made to coincide with Crime Stoppers’ Valentine’s Day Raffle to support the K9 Initiative and Rochester Police Locust Club.

The grand prize is a guitar autographed by Lou Gramm. Thirty-five local businesses donated prizes to contribute, including wine, chocolate, champagne and gift certificates.
