Canandaigua woman arrested for rape

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) – Canandaigua Police have charged a 44-year-old woman with rape.

Police say Sharon Anemaet of Canandaigua had sex several times with a child under the age of 15 between the summer of 2021 and February of this year.

She was arrested Thursday and charged with second degree Rape.

Police say additional charges are pending.
