CDC director makes trick-or-treating recommendations

(NBCNC) — Halloween is right around the corner, so what are health officials saying about whether it will be safe to take your kids trick-or-treating?

Center for Disease Control and Prevention Rochelle Walensky said kids should be able to go trick-or-treating this Halloween under a couple of conditions.

Walensky recommended trick-or-treating outside, but she warned families to limit crowds and avoid crowded Halloween parties.
