CDC still recommends outdoor gatherings, indoor masking ahead of the holidays
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — After technical difficulties, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Friday released its guidance for a safe and healthy holiday season.
The CDC says the safest way to celebrate is outdoors, but if the party is happening indoors, you’re encouraged to wear a mask, especially if you haven’t been vaccinated.
Additionally, the organization says that indoor space should be well ventilated and not crowded. The advice is not nearly as strict as last year’s guide, which was accidentally posted on the CDC’s website earlier this month, but was taken down.
