City of Rochester wants input on how to spend Downtown Revitalization money
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The City of Rochester wants residents’ input on how it should spend $10 million it was awarded from Empire State Development for Downtown Revitalization initiatives.
This round of funding will go toward transforming the area along the north side of Main Street from North Clinton Avenue to the Genesee River. That area includes the dilapidated building at the intersection of North Clinton Avenue and Main Street.
A local planning committee will meet via Zoom on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The first 15 minutes will be set aside for community members to give their input. This will carry forward for all future meetings as well.
