Clarkson Town Hall closed for rest of week due to illnesses

CLARKSON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Clarkson Town Hall will be closed for the rest of the week because the Town Supervisor says most of its five full-time employees are out ill.

Christa Filipowicz did not specify what illness they have but did say she expects that they will be out for a while.

Next week, Filipowicz says the plan is to operate with modified hours: Noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break starting at noon Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

She’s asking residents to use the drop boxes on either side of the front door of Town Hall for tax payments to help.

The Town Board’s 2022 organizational meeting is still scheduled for Jan. 3 at 6 p.m.
