Community leaders announce Stuff the Bus Food Collection Drive for Thanksgiving

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Community leaders Tuesday gathered to announce the Stuff the Bus Food Collection Drive.

First Student teamed up with Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County to provide a bus dedicated to collecting non-perishable items and other Thanksgiving meal fixings.

It will be at the Tops Market on West Avenue in the city.

"We want everybody to come and donate the items for Thanksgiving for people who are less fortunate can have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner," said organizer Clay Harris.

Food will be collected this Thursday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
