Confirmed shooting on Chili Ave and Salina Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – RPD has confirmed a shooting incident that happened Saturday evening at Chili Ave and Salina Street.
Officers responded to the report of shots fired and upon arrival found a male who had been shot and was down on the ground. The victim was suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim, a 33-year-old male, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation.
