Confirmed tornado in Western New York Monday evening

ALEXANDER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A tornado briefly touched down in Western New York Monday evening.
The National Weather Service confirms the EF-0 tornado had maximum wind speeds of 85 mph, was on the ground for about 3/4 mile, and was approximately 75 yards wide.
Some of the damage included two rolled trailers, removed shingles, shattered windows at a few residences, and snapped several trees. This occurred within a line of severe warned storms that also went on to produce damage in parts of Livingston and Monroe Counties.
