Congressional hearings on Buffalo mass shooting Tuesday and Wednesday

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHEC) – The son of one of the victims of the mass shooting at Tops in Buffalo testified before a congressional hearing Tuesday morning on domestic terrorism.
Garnell Whitfield, Jr. is the son of Ruth Whitfield, and is the former Buffalo Fire Commissioner. He addressed the Senate Judiciary Committee.
On Wednesday, a House Oversight Committee will be holding a hearing on gun violence. Buffalo Police Commissioner Joe Gramaglia will be testifying along with Zeneta Everhart, who is the mother of Tops employee, Zaire Goodman, who was shot but survived.
