Convicted sex offender from Hamlin arrested on new child pornography charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – A convicted sex offender is facing new charges after being arrested on new child pornography charges Wednesday.
Prosecutors say 42-year-old Michael Woloschuk from Hamlin is charged with receipt, distribution, and possession of child pornography.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip back in 2020 that Woloschuk was using social media to distribute child porn.
Videos and images were seized from his house in 2021.
Woloschuk was previously convicted of child pornography charges back in 2005.
