ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County officials said they’re sticking to a promise made in the 1960s to rebuild the children’s pavilion at Highland Park.
The funding is now in place. The pavilion on the upper reservoir overlooked the park for 73 years until it started to deteriorate and had to be torn down.
It was known for its dramatic 360-degree views of the city of Rochester, Lake Ontario, and as far away as the Bristol Hills.
