Dachshund Parade returning to Washington Square Park

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Arguably one of Rochester’s cutest events, the Dachshund Parade, is coming back to Washington Square Park in Rochester next month.

The 20th annual parade is planned for 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7.

There will be food, vendors and music.

This year’s theme is "20 Wienerful Years."

Organizers say at this time, they don’t anticipate there to be any COVID restrictions, but it asks that attendees consult the Monroe County Department of Public Health for any COVID-19 updates before parade day.
