Department of Health asking New Yorkers to report fake vaccine cards

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The New York State Department of Health says a Central New York man was arrested Friday for having a fake COVID-19 vaccine card.
He was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument.
In August, a Long Island urgent care employee was arrested in an investigation into fraudulent cards.
The Department of Health is asking New Yorkers to report vaccine card related fraud by calling 833-829-7226 or emailing STOPVAXFRAUD@health.ny.gov.
