ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said a Rochester man died following a crash in Henrietta Saturday morning.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. on Jefferson Road in Henrietta. Deputies said 20-year-old Zyshon Heath was driving east on Jefferson when he left the south side of the road and struck two utility poles before coming to rest in front of the DoubleTree Hotel.

Heath had to be removed from the car by the Henrietta Fire Department. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Deputies believe speed and wet roads were factors in the crash.
