Deputies find missing Pittsford man safe

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — Deputies have found the missing man with Alzheimer’s who was last seen in a neighborhood near Powder Mills Park in Pittsford.

Deputies say they found Thomas Hemiup, 73, in Mendon, safe.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office thanked the community members who helped find him by calling in tips to 911.
